Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Beacon Stays LLC wants every property owner, partner and guest to be able to use beaconstayco.com, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we test against it before every release.

How the site is built

  • Semantic HTML with one main heading per page and proper landmarks, so screen readers can navigate by structure.
  • Text and interface colors that meet AA contrast on every page, including text on photographs.
  • Full keyboard access with visible focus states; nothing requires a mouse.
  • Motion that respects your system’s reduced-motion setting: with it on, every animation is replaced by a complete static layout.
  • Descriptive alternative text for every photograph, written for the real scene.
  • Forms with visible labels, helper text, inline error messages tied to their fields and no time limits.
  • Touch targets sized for phones, and layouts that work at narrow widths without horizontal scrolling.
  • Pages that render as plain HTML without JavaScript, so content is available even when scripts fail.

Testing

We test with automated tools (axe-core in our build pipeline and Lighthouse) and by hand with keyboard navigation and screen readers on phone and desktop. Automated checks run on every change before it is published.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site rely on third-party components we do not control:

  • The scheduling tool (Microsoft Bookings) that opens after a form submission.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from automated traffic.

If one of these is hard to use, contact us by email and we will complete the task with you another way.

Tell us about a problem

If you find a page or feature that is hard to use, we want to know. Email leads@beaconstayco.com with the page address and what happened. We reply within one business day and fix what we can quickly; where a fix takes longer, we tell you the plan and offer another way to get what you need.
